Visit the Percy Thomson Gallery where a talk has been arranged for us. The trip will also include visits to the museum, District Library and Café, Fenton Street Gin Distillery and Eltham Cheese shop.

8.45am - Meet at the Whanganui War Memorial Centre at 8.45am.
9am - Depart by bus on Wednesday 22 October from the Whanganui War Memorial Centre forecourt.
10am - Arrive Hawera at The Gathering Cafe for morning tea (self-funded)
10.45am - Personalised tour of the new Hawera library and art space called Te Ramanui o Ruapūtahanga.
11.05am - Depart Hawera
11:30am - Arrive Percy Thomson Gallery, Stratford: exclusive tour by Gallery Director, Catherine Rhodes, Watercolour New Zealand exhibition.
12.30pm - Lunch in Stratford at Fenton Street Art Collective & Distillery (self-funded)
1.45pm - Depart Stratford
Time tbc - Visit the Eltham Cheese Shop
2.45pm - Arrive Pātea and browse around the Aotea Utanganui Museum of the South Taranaki
3.30pm - Depart for Whanganui
4.30pm - Home
