The Hōhepa Candle initiative is a non-profit organization founded in the early 1980s with the mission to provide individualised support for intellectually disabled people.
Now in the Napier CBD, Hōhepa Creative Works is a vibrant studio focused on people and community, producing quality handmade products using an almost zero-waste process.
The candle making team produce natural products out of 100% locally sourced beeswax from Takapau Kintail Honey, which is purifying and detoxifying for the air when burned.
