Banshee the Valkyrie, an object and jewellery maker based in Whanganui, has honed her craft over a decade in Wellington. Her artistic journey includes mentorship under renowned artists Hanne Erickson Mapp and Vaune Mason. Her work is deeply inspired by themes of female empowerment and uplifting the downtrodden. She draws inspiration from unconventional sources such as worms, slugs and witches.
