A Bus Trip to the Wairarapa: A Day of Art, Ideas & Beautiful Places

Enjoy a day of discovery in the Wairarapa.

Join the Friends of the Sarjeant Gallery for the day. We will enjoy a specially arranged art excursion to the Wairarapa, discovering four exhibitions at Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art and History, followed by an exclusive visit to the magnificent Rototāwai Gallery, Homestead and Gardens.
TIcket price includes return transport, tours, entry costs and visit arrangements. Lunch is self-funded.

Our schedule: 
8:15am           Bus pick up at Whanganui War Memorial Centre
10:30am         Arrive at Aratoi Wairarapa Museum of Art & History
Coffee at the café attached to the gallery
11am               Gallery tour and talk
12noon           Self-funded lunch
1pm                 Bus to Rototāwai Gallery & Garden
1:30pm           Garden and Gallery Tour (2- 2 ½ hours)
4pm                 Bus home to Whanganui
6:15pm           Home
