Produced on the occasion of Julia Morison's 2019 solo exhibition Head[case], this book features full colour images of the artist's staggering array of ceramic heads, alongside engaging texts from Kim Paton and Anna Smith. Commissioned by Christchurch Public Art gallery, and opening there, before travelling to Objectspace gallery, then on to Adam Art Gallery, Head[case] is an ambitious and evocative achievement from one of New Zealand's most innovative contemporary artists.
