The Awa Calls to Us: Workshop with Alexis Neal
This two day weekend workshop will explore the process of monotype printing techniques, learning how to apply an even application of ink over a plastic surface. This technique allows you to work intuitively creating fluid marks moving the ink to create your own personal depictions of the river landscape. With the Te Awa Reo exhibition as one of our inspirations, this experimental workshop will employ a number of drawing techniques through this simple print process. Cost: $150 or $110 with a valid student ID. Maximum 10 participants.
